It is awesome, the gardens are amazing and the whole 'middle England' atmosphere is a joy. Plebs like us can go Thursday and Friday and best of all you can go for different lengths of time I always go after 3.30pm but 5.30pm is good too. Glad I did not put you off having a pint or two!
Belette I would have loved to see the Outerbridge, London really needs a Getty not that I'm greedy!indigo16https://www.blogger.com/profile/16982477144454205765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6171296868274970791.post-31553853369026411852009-05-01T11:17:00.000-07:002009-05-01T11:17:00.000-07:00Your description of yourself doesn't frighten me. ...Your description of yourself doesn't frighten me. I went to the Getty yesterday and there were three great photographic shows: In Focus: The Portrait;Jo Ann Callis: Woman Twirling; Paul Outerbridge: Command Performance. The Outerbridge work was wonderful and I am absolutely in love with Jo Ann Callis' work. So far, you've only intrigued, not scared me off.
Is the Chelsea Flower Show really that wonderful? We'll be in London the 28th and I'd thought about trying to get to it, but I'm assuming tickets are hard to come by and there's some train travel, etc., so I've shelved the idea. What do you think?materfamiliashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16062766947897513369noreply@blogger.com
