I wish I was here!

This morning Just after I arrived to work at 8 o/c I realised that Daisy had an appointment with the homeopath so at 9,30 I collected Daisy returned home collected the car drove to Brockley for 11 o/c finished at 11.45 drove home got on the train returned to work and at 5 o/c I will have to get the train back home collect Kitty come back to school to watch Daisy in a fashion show then go home to bed... and I am missing the CSI the final episode, my absolute favourite one with Grissom and the miniatures . so I wish I was at Maison Bertaux instead, if I worked nearby I would probably be clinically obese.

My students are currently doing a project on food and drink so in a moment of inspiration I have typed into Flickr search "Afternoon Tea" and "English Breakfast" so many photos, a wealth of resources, thank you world for publishing your foodie photos my job just got a lot easier.

It should be fun

Stylebubblehttp://www.stylebubble.typepad.com/recently published an apology to an open letter she received criticising her lack of interaction with people who leave comments. Someone here has missed the point of a blog and its not Stylebubble, people who crave acknowledgement should go to facebook. This blog is for fun not a career I love doing it and get huge amounts of pleasure reading other blogs, my list of favourites grows weekly. In common with Stylebubble I have become very jaded with fashion magazines, the endless smug back slapping merry go round between advertisers and editors has created a celebrity driven creative black hole with no inspiration or creative dynamic. Stylebubbles blog is more innovative than 90% of fashion journalism with more fresh ideas in a week than most magazines feature in 6 months Until editors can break away from the iron grip of sponsors and produce a magazine as wonderful as Bloom like Li Edelkort be grateful that so much talent exists on Stylebubbles blog.

Favourite things

Style bubble recently asked people to submit a photomontage of favourite things she calls "lovies" at first I could not think of any but slowly I have become aware of items in my wardrobe I love and would not want to be without. The list is currently on a to do list but on there would be my Wallace & Sewell scarf http://www.wallacesewell.com/ the most expensive purchase ever other than my coat, 3 figures no less but it is perfect in weight colour and size and much loved. A recent postcard hinted at a collaboration with Luisa Cevese http://www.riedizioni.com/Catalog.html whose bags are above you know how much I love stripes the bag would be a slice of heaven but the prices are eye watering so will stay a dream
