Robert Polidori
That such beauty can come from such misery does not sit easily on my shoulders, these beautiful photographs are reminiscent of those taken of the great depression in the 30s by Walker Evans and Dorothea Lange. So calm yet so disturbing.

You seem to be in a Sally Mann kind of mood. The work of Robert Polidori, Judith Katz and Chris Turner all share the decay of Sally Mann's work. Darkly beautiful. I particularly love the existential impact of the Chris Turner work. Those images prove that Diamonds last forever ;-)

Love this feast of art, Allison. Really lovely and generous of you to find all of this. Mwah-mwah!
