Francois-Marie Banier

I noticed this photographers work in a W magazine a few months back for Diane Von Furstenberg.
I love the experimentation of the photography, as well as that someone in advertising, is thinking out of the box for a change.

These are fantastic!!! Love them. I love it when advertising is beautiful. I remember years ago Barneys NYC had a series of paintings with little phrases. I loved them so much I called Barneys to see if they sold these and if not who the artist was. I never found out. But, I still think of them.

Wow! These are fabulous! I remember the DVF ad too. Thanks for letting us know who the photographer is...I'm starting a photography course in Oct so I have a new folder of photographers I like - he's gone straight in! Wish I spoke french though to know what was written on them!

Stunning! I love the mix of written word and image -- and this artist is crazily talented and prolific -- the photographs on the website are wonderful, and he also has written (and had published and translated) novels, books on art, AND had exhibitions at some very prestigious spots. Good for DVF for giving him this venue and letting more of us see his work -- and ditto to you for bringing the campaign to our attention. Great find!

Sensational pieces. The combos of the photos and text as well as the black & white and colors are really spectacular.
